Children And Toy

When a child is crying we console them by saying that we will purchase toys to them. Even we encourage them in studies and other extra curricular activities by giving toys as a gift to them. To make a child not doing any mischievious activity and control them the very word toy creates a magic in them and stop them from doing such activities.
Toys are like a friend to the child they play with them and shares with them their feelings and a lot. There cannot be even a single home without toy. That is the importance of it. Keep a practice of buying toys to our children and make them happy, in turn we will become happy.

Oops!!!!! It’s a hiccup

Everybody at some point or the other has had an embarrassing moment with hiccups. Scientifically speaking, hiccups are sudden contractions which take place involuntarily, in the muscles of the diaphragm. With repeated contractions, the opening present between the vocal chords is shut, and the inflow of air is checked. This causes the hiccups. Any irritation caused to the nerves stretching from the neck and reaching up to the chest also kicks off bouts of hiccups. There are many old wives tales of stopping hiccups and many myths attached to it too. Other remedies include eating a spoonful of sugar or drinking a glass of water.

Education System In India

Indian education system is more ancient one. In olden days it was the Guru Kula system where the students leave their homes and stay at the teacher’s place for years to learn various arts. The teachers were given high privilege in the kingdoms. With the advent of British rule, education system was revised and Macaulay system was brought in. Since then many improvements have been made. Today Indian students are highly skilled and ready to face any challenge, which is well illustrated by the success of Indians in the world arena. But the practical exposure is still lacking in the system which when corrected could greatly improve the quality of the students.

New college system

Affiliation of colleges to Universities is in the process of being revalued and likely to undergo changes. There seems to be a proposal to have colleges administered by a new board, the undergraduate board. The NKC or the National Knowledge Commission is behind this change in the pattern of administration. The reason being that the universities are overburdened with the tedium of being a college overseer whereas they can focus their energies on research and postgraduate studies. The NKC’S proposal has been accepted by most states .The undergraduate board will function like an ICSE or CBSE BOARD responsible for academia, administration, syllabus, exams, degrees and finance.

The style of wrapping up a gift is as important a gesture as giving the gift and there are many ways in which you can wrap your gift to impress. The process of wrapping a gift need not be restricted to those colorful ribbons and wrapping papers available in the market but you can extend the art of wrapping gifts to anything that fancies you in and around your home. You can use feathers, tassels and belts, or even different kinds of fabric. Your old cardboard boxes can also be used as gift boxes but remember to color them or paste some lovely colorful paper or thin fabric material like organza, chiffon, taffeta, or lace before wrapping it up. Remember, the gift is a representation and reflection of you so package yourself well.
